Butter Chicken Lasagna

This is an indian approach to the classic italian lasagna. It's creamy, and packed full with flavors that you're sure to enjoy!

 

Ingredients

- 1/2 lbs. of ground chicken

- 1/2 cup of diced onions

- 1 tsp. of salt

- 1 tsp. of chopped garlic

- 1 tsp. of ginger paste

- 1 1/2 tbsp. of butter

- 2 tsp. of Shan's butter chicken mix

- 1/2 tsp. of crushed pepper

- 3 cups of marinara sauce

- 1 cup of heavy cream

- 1 cup of ricotta cheese

- 1 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella

- 9 lasagna noodles

 

Instructions

  1. Oil a pan on medium-high heat. Add onions, garlic, and ginger and saute them.

  2. Add the chicken and salt. Continue sauteing it until the chicken is cooked.

  3. Add the crushed pepper and butter. Melt the butter in the pan, then add the marinara sauce and heavy cream.

  4. Add the butter chicken mix and stir it and cook it until it simmers.

  5. Cook your lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Then preheat your oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit.

  6. On a rectangular baking pan, start making your lasagna, alternating layers with the butter chicken sauce and the ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. Top it with extra mozzarella and place it in the oven for 40 minutes. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes, and enjoy!
