Mini Chicken Kebabs

My Mom used to make these when I was younger. They bring back a lot of memories. You should try this recipe, I'm sure you'll love it too!

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cups water

  • 2 chicken breasts, cubed

  • 1 tsp. salt

  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce

  • Onion, coarsely chopped

  • Mint leaves

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • Breadcrumbs

 

Instructions

  1. On medium-high heat, take a pan and put the water in it. Place the chicken in the pan and season it with the spices. Cover it for 5 minutes.

  2. Remove the lid from the pan and keep cooking it until the water is evaporated. Then add the soy sauce and stir it in. Then remove it from the heat.

  3. Now take your toothpicks and begin assembling the kebab, starting with a piece of chicken, then a slice of onion, then a mint leaf, then an onion, and finally, a piece of chicken. Repeat until you are out of chicken.

  4. Dip the mini kebabs in the egg, then cover it in breadcrumbs and set aside.

  5. Take a pan filled with oil over medium-high heat, then place the kebabs in the oil. Cook them for 2 minutes on each side, or until they're golden brown. Serve them on their own or with rice.
