This recipe is quick, easy and delicious! We had this Salmon Biryani at a friends house. It's now one of our favorites! Give it a try and you will fall in love with it too!
Ingredients
For Salmon Marination
8 Pieces of Salmon
1/2 Cup Yogurt
2 Tbsp Shan's Pulao biryani mix
1 Tbsp Garlic
1 Tbsp Ginger paste
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Oil
For Rice Ingredients
3 Cups Basmati rice
3 Tbsp oil
1 Medium size Onion chopped
1/2 Cup Water
2 Tbsp of Shan's Pulao Biryani mix
1 Cup Milk
7 Green Chilli
2 Tsp Sugar
2 Tbsp Fried Onions
2 Tbsp Cilantro
Instructions
Mix all the ingredients for Salmon and marinade for an hour.
Cook Basmati rice and put it aside.
Shallow fry the Salmons in a large pan, Take them off the pan, then put them away while getting ready to cook the rest of the biryani.
Add oil in the same pan and stir fry the onion with Shan's pulao biryani mix.
After the onions get translucent, add water and bring it to a boil. Then add milk and allow it to simmer until it starts to boil. Add the green chillies, then add the salmon back in the pan and cover it. After 5 minutes of cooking, set aside the salmon again.
Add sugar, then add the cooked basmati rice in the pan. Mix it well with the biryani sauce. Then layer the salmon fishes on top of the rice.
Add the fried onions and some fresh chopped cilantro.
Serve it hot, with some raita or salad and Enjoy!
